At Blue Wigwam we are passionate about improving green infrastructure in cities across the UK. There is mounting evidence that good green infrastructure dramatically reduces a broad range of health and social related issues within communities. A study by the forestry commission concluded that good quality accessible green space and infrastructure can provide many potential health and well- being benefits. The most significant of these can be grouped into three broad categories: (1) increased life expectancy and reduced health inequality; (2) improvements in levels of physical activity and health; (3) promotion of psychological health and mental well-being.
